I can still remember the very first day I walked into my 12th grade social studies class. My teacher was nowhere to be found, but on the board there was a question. The instructions told each of us to form an opinion of the question, prepare an argument to defend this opinion, and not to discuss either our opinion or argument with anyone else in the class.
After finding myself engaged in a half hour debate with a classmate regarding my position, I must admit that I completely forgot for a moment that the debate was nothing more than a classroom exercise. It wasn't long afterwards that I decided I wanted to be a defense attorney.
My desire to constantly discuss all things legal has not dwindled since that first day of class. This blog is my way of sharing that passion with you.
